A Friend to Dye For
My friend Lecia came up last night so that we could spend the day kool-aid dying some of the wool that I got from the Big Stash. Check out the results!
Whoa!!! Weird - I was just thinking about yarn dyeing this morning. (and, additionally, how I will never have time to do it. I have two 18th century novels to read this week alone) I'm glad you have gotten the ball rolling!! How did it go? Any lessons learnt? Is the dye color-fast? Any project ideas?
And dude, you should totally fix that clothes line. I know it seems a little trashy, but you have no idea how lucky you are to have a yard, a clothesline pole, and more than your fair share of sunny days. Meanwhile I am drowning under the curtains of wet clothes drying in my office!! (and the bonus - you can dry more hand-dyed yarn!!) :)
